We respect your privacy and your children’s privacy. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Adabi Club (النادي الأدبي), and how we use and protect it.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (stored encrypted) and phone number if you provide one.
- Learning data: enrolled courses, lesson progress, and quiz and exercise results.
- Purchase data: the plan or course purchased, its date and amount. Card details are processed directly by our payment providers and are not stored on our servers.
- Technical data: device type, browser and IP address, used to run the platform and protect accounts, including the two-device limit per account.
- Cookies: used to keep you signed in and remember your language and currency. You can manage them from the cookie notice.
2. How we use your data
- To deliver courses and track learning progress.
- To manage accounts, subscriptions and payments.
- To send essential messages, such as registration confirmation, password resets and receipts.
- To improve the platform and protect it from unauthorised use.
3. Sharing data
We never sell your data. We share it only as needed with the service providers the platform relies on, such as payment providers (Stripe, PayPal, Tabby and Tamara) and hosting and email services, or when required by law. If you sign in with Facebook, we receive only the basic information needed to create your account.
4. Protection and retention
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and keep it for as long as your account is active or as required by law.
5. Children
Many of our learners are children. We expect a parent or guardian to create and supervise the child’s account, and we ask the child only for the information needed for learning.
6. Your rights
You may ask to access or correct your data, or to delete your account. Contact us and we will respond as soon as possible.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates take effect as soon as they are published on this page.
